“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans.10.9.KJV).

All things become new when we receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour and start following him in all sincerity and worshipping him in spirit and in truth.

True salvation is not only when we say the sinner’s prayer although that is a step forward, but that does not make us followers of Jesus Christ, rather as we read and study the word of God daily, his word transforms us gradually to his divine nature, we learn more about who God is, his nature, what he likes, and what he hates. As we continue to follow him, he transforms our lives with his holy Word. All we need to do is believe in him and in his holy word and obey him.

Religious rituals, duties, sacrifices, and church membership are not salvation.
Salvation means total surrender of one’s life to God through Jesus Christ and obedience to his word through the power of the Holy Spirit.

‭‭We must also confess him with our mouth. This is not the time for secret discipleship. It is either you are for Jesus or you are not. You need to own up to it and be proud to let your friends and family know that you are a believer in Jesus Christ and you are not ashamed of him.

Follow God diligently and work out your salvation with fear and trembling. As we are told in Philippians 2: 12,
“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
His grace will always sustain us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
